CopyrightWAMCC will only provide copies and/or grant reproduction permission for materials of which WAMCC is the copyright holder or for which there are no intellectual property rights restrictions. The copyright law of the United States (United States Code, Title 17) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries, and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be used “for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. Only an express written waiver from WAMCC may be regarded as a valid waiver of this agreement, and no employee, board member, volunteer, or other representative of WAMCC is authorized to waive it orally. If any specific part of this agreement is waived by WAMCC, that does not imply the waiver of any other part.
